Biography:

Amanda is a Consultant with the Deloitte & Touche LLP, ERS practice in Intel.  Amanda's experience in cost accounting as it relates to property, plant and equipment (PP&E), finance, and her education in business administration will ensure SPARC's financial sustainability plans with the creation of an endowment.

 

Donna Goldbranson

Biography:

Ms. Goldbranson is the creator, founder, and executive director of SPARC.  Ms. Goldbranson brings her many years of business administration experience in the defense contracting arena along with hands on experience of over 18 years working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Ms. Goldbranson has been serving on the Young Adults Service Committee of the Fairfax County Long Term Care Coordinating Council for over three years and in answer to the identified need in the community has developed SPARC. Ms. Goldbranson served on the Board of The Arc of Northern Virginia and is a member of the Program Committee for Jill’s House of McLean Bible Church. Ms. Goldbranson is a Toastmaster and speaks on issues surrounding adult services for individuals with disabilities. Ms. Goldbranson has received the Toyota Tribute to Working Women Award, Fairfax County Distinguished Colleague Award, been interviewed on WASH FM “Women of Vision” program and produced a documentary of the SPARC program with Fairfax County Channel 16.  She was most recently nominated for the 2009 CNN Heroes Award.

Dr. Dukjin Im

Biography:

Dr. Im is the Medical Director Pediatric Unit, Iliff Nursing and Rehab Center , Medical Director Spina Bifida multidisciplinary clinic, Inova Fairfax , and practicing member of Summit Pediatric Rehabilitation of Northern Virginia.  He brings his vast experience and passion in working with children and young adults with disAbilities.  His contributions to the board as we moved toward fiscal sustainability are greatly valued.

Elliott Toobin

Biography:

Elliott Toobin has experience in change management, performance management, strategic communications, and business process reengineering at the cross government federal level. He brings expertise in strategy development, process development, analysis, learning/development design, and hiring strategy. His expertise will help guide SPARC through our expansion processes.

Josh Chernikoff

Biography:

Josh Chernikoff brings his entrepreneurial expertise to the SPARC organization.  As founder of AshleyTutors he brings his business successes in creating one of the most respected names in his field.  His career in broadcast journalism as Anchor for "Redskins Daily Update" and "Redskins Nightly News", along with his communications, and promotions brings a crucial dimension to our board in public relations and grassroot marketing.  

Kelly Fitzgerald

Biography:

Kelly Fitzgerald is a TelePresence Briefing Specialist for Cisco Systems, Inc.  Kelly brings her background in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations to our board to compliment and guide our marketing plan. Kelly has worked in Adapted Sports programs in San Diego and brings her passion for working with adults with disAbilities to our organization!! 

Mylene Nyman Nyman

Position: Secretary/Treasurer

Biography:

Ms. Nyman as small business owner of StrollerFit, Inc., brings her expertise to SPARC in the areas of marketing and community outreach. As a SPARC partner, Ms. Nyman has developed a customized exercise program for SPARC club members and successfully held a fundraiser for the purchase of all the needed exercise equipment. Ms. Nyman provides a valued partnership to our organization along with her entrepreneurial successes.
